Our Mission

Our Mission is to support families

In their role as Primary Educators and Catechists, by offering prepared Montessori environments to support the child in academic and spiritual work. We seek to be partners with the parents and live unity in life as the Body of Christ.

“PARENTS HAVE THE FIRST RESPONSIBILITY
FOR THE EDUCATION OF THEIR CHILDREN.”

—Catechism of the Catholic Church 2223

Our mission began several years ago in Ave Maria, FL. It started with just a few families who believed in the Montessori method and who were seeking support in their child’s education.

They slowly built a community that supported their mission. They gathered materials for both the academic side of Montessori and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.

Over the years, God has called each of our Montessori guides to this town to be a part of this movement. We are now reaping the fruit of the many seeds that have been sown and are indebted to the families who sacrificed so much for this program

“The education of even a small child, therefore, does not aim at preparing him for school, but for life.”

MARIA MONTESSORI

Our vision continues to grow.

Our main goal with our center is to support families in their efforts to help their children fall in love with Christ and His Church. The heart of all we offer is the Atrium; a prepared place of prayer for children and adults.

As our community continues to grow, we have expanded our programs to include an Elementary Montessori Environment and a Level II & III Atrium for ages 6-12. We have also taken the beginning steps to create both a toddler and adolescent program.

Our vision is grand and we trust that the Holy Spirit is moving us to continue growing and building this community. We are so happy you are here and hope you will partake in all that our center has to offer!
